Alcatraz East Crime Museum

A whole host of American crime artifacts are on display inside Alcatraz East, from infamous cars like O.J. Simpson's Ford Bronco, to John Wayne Gacy's clown suits. The museum itself is modelled after a mix of the the castle-like Tennessee State Prison and Alcatraz, with its lighthouse and modern-day watch towers. Once you've stepped inside, you can explore five galleries: A Notorious History Of American Crime, Punishment: The Consequence Of Crime, Crime Scene Investigation, Crime Fighting, And Counterfeit Crimes & Pop Culture. There's two floors, and over 100 interactive exhibits to engage with – like safe cracking and a Wild West shooting range – so whether you've got a morbid fascination with true crime, or you're a budding kid detective, there's something for everyone to investigate inside.
