A pumpkin pie recipe?
Sweet pie
Ingredients
For 6 people:
- 1 shortcrust pastry or shortbread
- 800 gr of pumpkin
- 2 whole eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 20 cl of fresh liquid cream
- 150 gr of sugar
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of nutmeg (or cinnamon!)
- 1 pinch of salt
Recipe
- Steam the pumpkin for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Puree it.
- Add the cream, eggs, sugar, nutmeg and salt.
- Mix well.
- Unroll the dough in a pie dish and prick it with a fork.
- Pour in the preparation.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 180°.
Enjoy it cold - with a dash of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Savory pie
Ingredients
For 6 people:
- 1 shortcrust pastry
- 400 gr of pumpkin
- 1 onion
- 2 whole eggs
- (1 egg white)
- 2 tablespoons of creme fraiche
- 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
- 50 gr of parmesan
- 50 gr of grated Gruyere
- 25 gr of butter
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
Recipe
- Preheat the oven to 180 °.
- Cut the pumpkin into small cubes and mince the onion.
- Brown them in butter and continue cooking until you obtain a puree.
- Let the mixture cool.
- Add the whole eggs, the parmesan, the gruyère, the cream, the parsley, salt and pepper.
- Roll out the dough in a pie dish, prick it with a fork and pre-cook it white for 15 min - or coat it with egg white.
- Pour in the preparation.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 180°.
Lardons, ham or tuna optional!
