After two years of living in this great flat I am moving to my own flat. LOCATION: The flat is very well located, within minutes walk from Stratford International, DLR or Stratford station. Outside the Covid-19 era this is a huge plus. During Covid-19 the proximity of the Olympic Park (2 minutes away) and Hackney Marshes as well as the canal (5-10 minutes walk) and Victoria Park (15 minutes walk) probably made a bigger difference in our lives. BUILDING: The building has parking space available at an additional cost. The building is secured with both fob and key access and contains CCTV. There is a bike garage. FLAT/ROOM: The flat is spacious and clean. There is a balcony which gets most of the sun during the day (very useful during lockdown!). The lease goes until June 23rd 2021. The room comes with its own ensuite. It is spacious, quiet and very comfortable. I will miss this room a lot! The bed, bedside tables and chest of drawers are the furniture that will stay. Only internet is included in the rent, the other bills come separately. They usually come around 80-90 per month. FLATMATES: The other flatmates are both females in their thirties and working. At the moment one is away (and might be until September) and the other one is rotating between work from home and going to the office.
