What lies ahead for 2020, as told by the stars?

Join Francesca Lisette, the Ignota Diary 2020’s astrologer, in conversation with Sarah Shin, co-founder of Ignota, to explore the astrology of 2020 through a feminist and queer lens.

Also known as Glitter Oracle, Lisette discusses upcoming key transits and explains how to work with the often-strong medicine of 2020 - the themes of which have been building steadily over not just the last decade, but several - as a personal and political tool.

They’ll forecast the movements of the planets such as Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in relation to issues such as #MeToo, abortion, trans rights and queerphobia - and look at how major retrogrades of Venus and Mars highlight issues of gender, relationships and identity. And, asteroid Black Moon Lilith - the archetypal femme rebel against the patriarchy, frequently coded as a slut or witch - this spring brings to light conversations around bodily autonomy and sexual freedom to further individual and collective liberation.

Putting astrology in conversation with queer consciousness, Lisette interrogates gender in the Western astrological tradition, in which planets and signs are categorised as masculine and feminine. How has astrology evolved to challenge the gender binary, and what does this mean for modern astrological practice?

Tickets are £10 / £8 Plus cardholders / £20 including a copy of Ignota Diary 2020. All tickets include a drink. Book early to avoid disappointment.
