Easter Eve - Easter Vigil

Easter Eve - Easter Vigil

Join us at Southwark Cathedral for our Easter vigil.

The Easter Vigil marks the end of the emptiness of Holy Saturday, and leads into the celebration of Christ’s resurrection. The Right Reverend Christopher Chessun, Bishop of Southwark will be presiding and Dr Paula Gooder, Chancellor, St. Paul's Cathedral preaching.

This service will end at approx 9.30pm.

When all pre-booked places are taken there will be a further 20 places available for those who turn up at the Cathedral. You will be asked to leave your contact details on arrival. These seats will be allocated on a first come basis. As soon as we are able to expand our capacity we will do so.

From Saturday 8 August 2020 it is mandatory that visitors and members of the congregation must wear a face covering unless you have been exempted.

Please note that Congestion Charging now applies to Sunday. Please be aware that the Cathedral is in the charging zone. Full details can be found at https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/congestion-charge
