A moving tribute to the human spirit

The US Open is one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments and the last Grand Slam of the season. Held in New York at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, it is played on hard courts and brings together the world's best tennis players every year.
There are several types of tickets available to attend the 2027 US Open: reserved seats at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium or Grandstand, Grounds Admission, hospitality packages and tickets available through the official resale marketplace.
US Open 2027: the exact tournament dates and the release date for 2027 individual tickets have not yet been announced. The US Open already allows fans to sign up for updates about future ticket sales. This page will be updated as soon as the 2027 schedule and ticket prices are published.
The US Open is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments, alongside the Australian Open, the French Open and Wimbledon. It is traditionally the final Grand Slam of the year.
The official dates for the 2027 US Open have not yet been published by the USTA.
The tournament usually takes place in late summer in New York. It includes Fan Week and qualifying, followed by the men's and women's singles main draws, doubles and other competitions.
Be careful with 2027 calendars already published on some websites: until the USTA officially announces the dates for the 2027 tournament, they should be treated as provisional.

The detailed schedule for the 2027 tournament is not yet available. The US Open main draw progresses through several rounds, from the opening matches to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
| Period | Main schedule |
|---|---|
| Fan Week | Qualifying, player practices and activities; 2027 schedule to be confirmed. |
| Start of the main draw | Opening rounds of the men's and women's singles and other competitions. |
| Second part of the tournament | Fourth round and quarter-finals. |
| Final days | Semi-finals and finals of the main competitions. |
The order of matches and the court on which each player will compete are not known several months in advance. The daily schedule is published progressively by the US Open during the tournament.
If you are hoping to see a particular player, booking a date several months in advance therefore does not guarantee that they will play during your session.
Individual tickets for the 2027 US Open are not yet on sale. Once ticket sales open, several ticket categories are expected to be available, depending on the arrangements for the 2027 tournament.
The system used for recent editions mainly distinguishes between tickets for Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, Grandstand and Grounds Admission.
| Ticket | Reserved seat | Typical access |
|---|---|---|
| Arthur Ashe Stadium | Yes | Arthur Ashe + access to other courts subject to availability |
| Louis Armstrong Stadium | Yes | Louis Armstrong + Grandstand and outside courts subject to availability |
| Grandstand | Yes | Grandstand + general admission areas at Louis Armstrong and outside courts subject to availability |
| Grounds Admission | No | General admission to accessible courts, but no access to Arthur Ashe Stadium |
The ticket categories, sessions and exact conditions available should be checked when 2027 ticket sales open.
The US Open uses Ticketmaster as its official ticketing partner. Tickets are digital and can be managed through the US Open's official services.
When 2027 ticket sales open, always use links provided through the official US Open website rather than a ticket platform found at random in search results.
Be careful with resale websites. The US Open recommends caution when purchasing tickets from third-party sellers. Its official resale marketplace, operated with Ticketmaster, allows fans to purchase authenticated resale tickets.
Yes. The US Open has an Official Ticket Marketplace operated by Ticketmaster. It is the secondary marketplace officially recommended by the tournament for resale tickets.
This can be useful when certain sessions have sold out or when you are looking for tickets after the initial sale. Prices can, however, vary depending on availability.
Yes. The US Open offers hospitality and premium packages, combining different seating categories with additional services depending on the package selected.
Premium options are particularly extensive around Arthur Ashe Stadium, which is currently undergoing a major transformation scheduled for completion in time for the 2027 tournament.
The best option mainly depends on your priorities. An Arthur Ashe ticket guarantees access to the main stadium, while a Grounds Admission ticket is better suited to spending the day moving between different courts.
Arthur Ashe Stadium is the main court at the US Open and the largest stadium in the complex. It hosts the biggest names and the tournament's most important matches, including the singles finals.
An Arthur Ashe ticket includes a reserved seat inside the stadium and also provides access to other courts in general admission areas, subject to availability.
Arthur Ashe Stadium has a retractable roof, allowing matches to continue in wet weather.

Louis Armstrong Stadium is the second-largest stadium in the complex and can accommodate around 14,000 spectators. Rebuilt in 2018, it also has a retractable roof.
A reserved Louis Armstrong ticket provides access to your allocated seat in the stadium, as well as Grandstand and the outside courts subject to availability. It does not, however, provide access to Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Grandstand is the US Open's third major stadium. Its more compact design provides an excellent setting for important matches and often creates a particularly lively atmosphere.
In recent editions, a reserved Grandstand ticket also provided access to the general admission areas of Louis Armstrong Stadium and the outside courts, but not Arthur Ashe Stadium.
A Grounds Admission ticket is particularly useful if you want to watch several matches during the same day rather than plan your visit around one match at Arthur Ashe.
In 2026, it provided general admission access to designated areas of Louis Armstrong Stadium, Grandstand, Stadium 17 and the outside courts, subject to availability.
A Grounds Admission ticket does not provide access to Arthur Ashe Stadium.
For a first visit during the early rounds, Grounds Admission can be an excellent way to experience the US Open: many matches take place at the same time, allowing you to move between courts throughout the day.
Ticket prices for the 2027 US Open have not yet been published. Prices will vary depending on the stadium, session, seat location and stage of the tournament.
2027 ticket prices: we will add the official 2027 US Open price list here once it has been published. Be cautious with websites already presenting 2027 prices as final.
For reference only, Arthur Ashe Stadium tickets were available from $38 in 2026. The US Open also offered some evening Grounds Passes for $25 when Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong night sessions were sold out.
The USTA also stated that, across the 2026 event, more than half of visitors were able to attend the US Open for $100 or less. These figures provide a useful indication of the potential budget, but should not be treated as 2027 prices.
US Open Fan Week is one of the best ways to experience the tournament without necessarily buying a ticket for the main draw.
In 2026, admission to the grounds during Fan Week was free with a Fan Access Pass. Visitors could watch the US Open qualifying tournament, see players practising and enjoy a wide range of activities around the complex.
More than 300,000 people took advantage of free admission in 2026.
Fan Week 2027: the US Open is already inviting fans to sign up for information about the 2027 edition. Dates, access arrangements and free events for Fan Week 2027 have not yet been published.
The US Open qualifying tournament takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center before the main draw begins.
In 2026, qualifying formed part of Fan Week and could be watched free of charge with a Fan Access Pass. The qualifying tournament featured 128 men and 128 women competing for the remaining places in the singles main draws.
The exact format and access conditions for 2027 qualifying will need to be confirmed once the 2027 Fan Week programme has been published.
The 2027 tournament is set to mark the completion of one of the largest transformations in US Open history.
The USTA has launched an $800 million investment programme focused in particular on the modernisation of Arthur Ashe Stadium and the construction of a new Player Performance Center. The entire project is scheduled for completion in time for the 2027 US Open.
Some of the improvements were already visible in 2026, but the complete transformation is due to be unveiled for the 2027 tournament.
The project includes expanded circulation areas, additional escalators and elevators, new food and retail spaces, as well as several new clubs and premium areas.
The stadium's overall configuration will remain the same: Arthur Ashe Stadium is not moving and will continue to host the US Open's biggest matches.
This is the largest investment in US Open history. The work is being carried out in several phases so that the tournament can continue to take place while construction is underway.
The US Open takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, New York.

The complex includes Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, Grandstand, Stadium 17 and numerous outside courts.
Public transport is generally the easiest way to reach the US Open.
| Transport | What to know |
|---|---|
| Subway | The 7 train serves Mets-Willets Point station, just a few minutes' walk from the National Tennis Center. |
| LIRR | The Long Island Rail Road also serves Mets-Willets Point via the Port Washington Branch, including services from Penn Station, Grand Central Madison and Woodside. |
| Car | Possible, but parking is limited and traffic around the tournament can be heavy. |
| Taxi / ride-hailing service | Dedicated pick-up and drop-off areas are provided around the complex. |
From Manhattan, the 7 train is generally the simplest option. The LIRR may be faster depending on where you are travelling from.
The US Open carries out security checks at the entrance to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Rules can change from one edition to another, so always check the official policy before your visit.
In 2026, bags were permitted provided they did not exceed 12 × 12 × 16 inches (approximately 30 × 30 × 41 cm), but backpacks were prohibited.
Glass bottles and containers, as well as cans, were also prohibited. Visitors could, however, bring a reusable metal or plastic water bottle with a maximum capacity of 24 oz (approximately 710 ml) and refill it at water fountains around the grounds.
These dimensions correspond to the rules in place in 2026. Check the official bag and prohibited items policy before visiting the 2027 US Open, as the rules may change.
Ideally, allow a full day or an entire session. The complex is large and the US Open experience extends well beyond the match covered by your reserved seat: outside courts, practice sessions, restaurants, shops and activities are all part of the event.
If you have a ticket for an evening session, also check the entry time associated with your ticket: a night-session ticket does not necessarily allow you to enter the grounds during the day.
Under the rules currently published by the US Open, children aged 2 and over require a full-price ticket.
This rule should be checked again for the 2027 tournament before your visit.
The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center offers accessible seating at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, Grandstand, Stadium 17 and the outside courts.
Elevators, ramps and other facilities also make it easier to move around the complex. If you require accessible seating or specific assistance, check the accessibility information when booking your tickets.
The tournament takes place in Queens, but you do not necessarily need to stay close to the National Tennis Center.
Staying in Queens can be convenient if the US Open is the main purpose of your trip. Areas with good connections to the 7 train or the LIRR can significantly reduce travel time to Mets-Willets Point.
If you are combining the US Open with sightseeing in New York, Manhattan is often more convenient for the trip as a whole. The 7 train provides a direct connection to Mets-Willets Point from several parts of Manhattan.
Grand Central is directly served by the 7 train, while Penn Station and Grand Central Madison also provide LIRR connections to the tournament.
Broadcasting rights for the 2027 US Open depend on the country you are in.

The tournament's history dates back to 1881, when the first U.S. National Championships were held on the grass courts of the Newport Casino in Rhode Island.
The tournament later moved to the West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, New York. It became the US Open with the beginning of the Open Era in 1968.
In 1978, the tournament moved to Flushing Meadows, where the US Open is still held today. Unusually in tennis history, the tournament has therefore been played on three different surfaces: grass, green clay and hard courts.
Arthur Ashe Stadium opened in 1997 and is named after American champion Arthur Ashe, winner of the first US Open of the Open Era in 1968.
With more than 23,000 seats, it is the largest stadium in the complex and one of the most impressive tennis venues in the world.

An Arthur Ashe Stadium ticket includes a reserved seat on the main court and also provides access to other courts in designated general admission areas. A Grounds Admission ticket allows you to explore the complex and access courts open to general admission, but does not provide access to Arthur Ashe Stadium.
If you definitely want to see a major match, an Arthur Ashe ticket provides greater certainty thanks to its reserved seat. If you prefer to discover lots of matches and move between courts, Grounds Admission is particularly attractive during the early rounds.
Fan Week traditionally provides free access to some of the events held before the main draw, including qualifying and selected practice sessions. In 2026, a free Fan Access Pass was required. Arrangements for 2027 are still to be confirmed.
