The HURON Lightship was the last of a dying breed. For the majority of her 50+ years in service, she was anchored in the Corsica Shoals, providing light and noise signals to incoming vessels. The last functioning lightship on the Great Lakes, she sounded her last horn in 1970, before becoming a part of the Port Huron Museums. * The floating lighthouse is yours to explore with this Huron Lightship Museum ticket. There's an extensive collection of artifacts and you can visit all parts of the boat, just as they were when it was in commission. See intricately crafted model ships, a camera feed from the bottom of St. Clair River, and more at this National Historic Landmark.
