More info

Bishop Museum is a trove of Hawaiian natural and cultural history. Made up of five different buildings, covering everything from history and art to insects, fish, and plants, it's the best place to delve into the archipelago's unique natural heritage. The museum is located in historic Honolulu and is home to millions of natural specimens. Learn about Hawaiian gods, old legends, valued traditions, and erupting volcanos across three floors. Bishop Museum, designated the Hawaii State Museum of Natural and Cultural History, is mainly housed inside a charming 19th-century building, decorated with wooden arches, large halls, viewing galleries, and specimens hanging from the ceilings. It's a throwback and a great day out on O'ahu!
