Zoo Atlanta: IllumiNights

Discover Atlanta’s holiday tradition IllumiNights at the Zoo. This festive event returns bigger and brighter, transforming the Zoo into a nighttime wonderland. Walk a mile-long trail filled with hundreds of lanterns of animals and scenes from around the world. Enjoy hot cocoa or holiday cocktails for guests 21 and older, and roast marshmallows at fire pits. IllumiNights is an evening event, meaning the lanterns are the Zoo wildlife. Zoo animals go indoors before dark. Please visit us during the day for animal viewing.
