Outlander Tour with Doune Castle Entry

During this full-day tour from Edinburgh you'll journey out of Edinburgh and see a number of key filming locations for the hit series Outlander. * Departing at 08.45, you'll drive west to Linlithgow Palace that portrays Wentworth Prison in the show. From there, head on to Doune Castle – one of Scotland's best preserved medieval castles and the setting for Castle Leoch in Outlander. You'll have time to explore this historic stronghold which also appeared in Monty Python's Holy Grail and as Winterfell in Game of Thrones. * After seeing Outlander's Castle Leoch, journey onward to the Kingdom of Fife, an area of great historical importance and the ancestral home of Scottish monarchs. You'll make a stop at Culross, where Claire was accused of witchcraft in the village of 'Cranesmuir'. This charming village is the most complete example of a 17th and 18th century burgh in Scotland today.
