Train Ride: Grindelwald - Jungfraujoch (Roundtrip)

Set off from the picture-perfect, postcard village of Grindelwald – used for shots in Star Wars Episode III and James Bond’s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service – and take the cogwheel railway built for mountainous terrain toward Jungfraujoch. Before you make it to the top, the tracks will change to the Strub System, a necessity to reach the 3,500-meter-high alpine station inside a mountain. The Top of Europe has shopping, snow sports, and even art made of ice. There’s also the opportunity to step onto Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site!
