Entrance to the temporary exhibition Picasso: Faces and figures *Optional: admission to the permanent collection

For the first time in many years, works by the legendary Pablo Picasso from the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Art and the Fondation Beyeler will be on display together for this special exhibition in Madrid. In total, 58 works will be on display: seven paintings and two sculptures from the Fondation Beyeler, and 45 prints, three drawings and a sculpture from the academic collections. * Figures, faces, and bodies are all central motifs in the art of Picasso, even if often refracted through his singular artistic vision. Picasso's obsession with the human form is eloquently showcased in two emblematic series of prints, The Unknown Masterpiece and The Vollard Suite. Both are in the academic collections, alongside other pieces of exceptional significance in his graphic creation, such as The Frugal Meal. * Don't miss this rare opportunity to visit a unique retrospective exhibition in a setting where Picasso spent some essential moments of his training.
