The Popular Art Museum includes work from decorator-painters like Carlos Botelho, Eduardo Anahory, Estrela Faria, Manuel Lapa, and Paulo Ferreira. The museum showcases mural compositions representing various regions of the country. Its significance led to its designation as a Monument of Public Interest in 2012. The museum’s collection features ceramic objects, popular jewelry, musical instruments, wickerwork, textiles, costumes, embroidery, agricultural tools, and miniatures of boats and carts.
