Authentic Dutch Boat Trip with the Trekschuit

Enjoy one of the most authentically Dutch experiences around, with a horse-drawn barge cruise aboard a traditional 'trekschuit' boat. The cruise starts from the Veerstraat in Maassluis, where the barge sails on electric motor to Maasland. At the Trekkade, the horse will be harnessed to the barge and the journey continues to De Kwakelweg. On board, a cup of coffee or tea will be provided, but there are no catering facilities. You are allowed to bring your own refreshments. After a short break, you will return to the Kwakelweg and sail the same route back to the Veerstraat for around lunchtime.
