The world-famous German theatre group Rimini Protokoll is making a unique Frisian version of their travelling theatre show Cargo. The performance is like a road movie, with one distinct difference – you'll be in a moving theatre! Your seat is inside a former refrigerated truck. Where frozen goods used to be stacked, you'll be sat. A ten-metre long window gives you a view of the city and the passing landscape in order to experience the performance with an evolving background. Hear the life stories of two truck drivers who work in the globalised dairy industry. The play was inspired by Stefan Kaegi of Rimini Protokoll's hitchhiking trip through Bulgaria where he often got talking to truck drivers. He believed that their stories about experiencing globalisation should be told first-hand.
