Museum Hindeloopen

Founded by Hidde Nijland, the museum has had its doors open for more than 100 years. Inside, you’ll be able to learn about the city’s rich history through works of art, furniture, and costumes. There’s a regular rotation of exhibits, including a growing collection of work that showcases the beauty of the city’s past – from the late 17th century as an important part of Dutch maritime power, to its revival in the 1880s as it began to benefit from industrialization.
