Rio Lagartos & Las Coloradas Day Trip from Cancún

Rio Lagartos is a small fishing village in a Nature Reserve; one of the natural treasures of the Yucatan Peninsula. * On a relaxing boat tour through its water channels, see the amazing mangroves blooming, spot a variety of bird species such as pink flamingos, herons, eagles, seagulls, pelicans and cormorants, and let nature wow you. * Pass under the Las Coloradas bridge to reach the salt deposits, where you'll see different bodies of water involved in this process, some of which are a striking pink colour! Next, cover yourself in cool, nutrient-rich clay at the Mayan Bath. It's dirty but it's worth it. * Then, head to a virgin beach to remove the clay with the crystalline water.
