Palazzo Maffei: House Museum

In Verona's Piazza delle Erbe a path between masterpieces and curiosities awaits. This artistic voyage takes you through more than five centuries of masterpieces. Inside the Palazzo Maffei House Museum, you'll find over 350 works from the 14th century to present day. Expect everything from painting to sculpture, architecture, and applied arts. Over 50 years of passionate collecting by businessman Luigi Carlon has brought together 200 paintings, around 20 sculptures, plus drawings. There's also an important selection of applied art objects: furniture; antique mirrors; renaissance ceramics; 17th-century majolica; silver, ivory and wood artefacts; pieces of oriental art; and rare books.
