Isola Bella Palace & Gardens

Strutting peacocks and plentiful plant life surround the Teatro Massimo, which is worth the price of admission alone. With statues dating back to the late 17th century decorating the outdoor amphitheater, and a unicorn (the symbol of the Borromeo family) sitting at the peak of the design, it's not to be missed. In the island's palace, make sure to admire the six grottoes made as a retreat from the heat, Flemish tapestries, armor, and 130 pieces of Baroque art that decorate the interior.
