Join us in welcoming leading parenting-bloggers-turned-bestselling-authors, Matt Coyne and Sarah Turner, for what promises to be a hilarious and heart-warming chat to celebrate the release of Matt’s first novel, Frank & Red, and the paperback publication of Sarah’s fiction debut, Stepping Up.

Matt and Sarah will be in conversation with Prima Magazine’s Books Editor, Nina Pottell.

Frank and Red are a mess.

Frank is a grumpy old curmudgeon. A recluse whose only company is the 'ghost' of his dead wife, Marcie. He is estranged from his friends, his son, and the ever-changing world beyond his front gate.

And then Red moves in next door.

Red is struggling to adjust to the separation of his mum and dad, a new school, and the demonic school bully. But he’s curious, smart, and he's got a trampoline.

From the moment Red's blonde mop appears over the top of the fence that divides their two gardens, the unlikeliest of friendships is born…

Stepping Up to her responsibilities has never been one of Beth’s strong points.

She's quit more jobs and relationships than she can remember and she still sleeps in her childhood bedroom. It's not that she hasn't tried to grow up, it's just that so far, the only commitment she's held down is Friday drinks at the village pub.

Then, in the space of a morning, her world changes. Unspeakable tragedy turns Beth's life upside down, and she finds herself guardian to her teenage niece and toddler nephew, catapulted into an unfamiliar world of bedtime stories, parents' evenings and cuddly elephants.

With a little help from her best friend Jory (purely platonic, of course ...) and her lovely, lonely next-door neighbour, Albert, Beth is determined that this time she's not giving up. It's time to step up…
