Lex Croucher grew up in Surrey, reading a lot of books and making friends with strangers on the internet, and now lives in London with an elderly cat.

With a background in social media for NGOs Lex now writes historical- ish rom coms for adults and historical fantasy rom-coms for teenagers. TROUBLE is Lex’s latest novel.

C. A. Castle is a writer and editor. He holds a BA in English Language and Literature from King's College, London, and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, where he focused on nineteenth- and twentieth-century literature, period adaptations and queer studies. He is also a picture book author as well as an anthologist, where he contrasts the old with the new in order to capture the zeitgeist. He currently resides in Cambridgeshire. THE MANOR HOUSE GOVERNESS is his first novel.
