Join us for our December Forgotten Fiction Book Club!

Have you ever wondered if you might be missing out on literary brilliance? Welcome to Waterstones Gower Street's Forgotten Fiction Book Club - you've come to the right place.

The Forgotten Fiction Book Club aims to rediscover great writers who have been unjustly neglected or have fallen out of print. Each month, we will be reading books from a plethora of genres including Science Fiction, Literary Fiction, Crime and much more!
In our December meeting, we will be discussing the work of Maureen Duffy.

'The idea of being forgotten is terrifying. I fear not just that I, personally, will be forgotten but that we are all doomed to being forgotten...Writing a book is an act of sheer defiance. It is a declaration that you believe in the persistence of memory.' - Susan Orlean

What could be more fun than sipping wine and discussing a great read?

Tickets cost £5 and include a drink. The following month's pick will be available for £5 at our secondhand department. You will be able to vote for next month's pick on the night.

Book early to avoid disappointment, spaces are limited!
