Montessori des Sourires is a French bilingual nursery located in Clapham South at the edge of Abbeville village. It was created to answer the high demand for bilingual education in the area. In Spring 2012, we opened our doors to children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years old. Our syllabus simultaneously prepares children for dual entry of the ‘ Grande section’ of the French school and the Reception of the British educational system.
We are open 51 weeks to year from 7am to 7pm. We are happy to receive your child into our nursey from 7am- 9am. We provide you with an update on your child’s day when you pick up them up from 4pm- 7pm.
Our greatest strength is our ability to create and manage an environment that is conducive to the artistic development of our children. We pride our program on the merging of bilingualism and Montessori training to ensure that every child involved has a holistic development system.
These are the building blocks of our educational system. With the wealth of experience from our team teaching in foreign language and the Montessori pedagogy to children of diverse nationalities, we have cultivated a program which allows children of various ages and cultural backgrounds to realise their true potential. We have a proven track record that not only helps children learn, but also help them to develop their own sense of self.
